Honoré Traoré

General Honoré Nabéré Traoré (born September 28, 1957)〔(« Honoré Traoré, chef d’Etat: des manifestants réclament le général Kouamé Lougué » ), fasozine.com, 31 octobre 2014〕 is one of the two Burkinabé soldiers that claimed to be the head of state since the resignation of Blaise Compaoré in the aftermath of the 2014 Burkinabé uprising, the other one being Isaac Zida. Traoré has stated that a new election will take place in 60–90 days.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Traoré assumes power in Burkina Faso )
However, on 1 November 2014, the Military of Burkina Faso declared Zida to be the head of state of Burkina Faso in a statement signed by army chiefs including Traoré himself.
Traoré had previously served as Compaoré's aide de camp.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=BBC News - Burkina Faso general takes over as Compaore resigns )
